Making Waves at the Australian Photographic Prize 🌊📷
This year, I stepped outside my comfort zone and entered the Australian Photographic Prize, joining over 2,500 photographers from 21 countries. To my surprise, several of my images were Highly Commended — and one earned a Silver with Distinction, placing in the Top 30 in the Landscape Category.

But with time, and now as a mother, Aamie has come to deeply appreciate the stillness, perspective, and grounding that the ocean offers. She describes saltwater as a lifeline — something that soothes the mind, recharges the soul, and brings her back to herself.

Intro to In-Water Photography Experience
Ever wondered what it feels like to capture the ocean from inside the waves? This hands-on experience is your chance to step into my world and try water photography without the big investment in gear.
You’ll learn:
How to safely handle a professional water housing
Ocean awareness & positioning basics
Tips for capturing creative in-water shots
I’ll provide the housing and camera — all you need is your own SD/CF card so you can take your photos home the same day.
(I do use Canon)

Pool or ocean (conditions permitting)
1–1.5 hours
Small group (max 2) or private option available
From $150 per person
Safety is my top priority. I’ll guide you through every step — but you’ll also be required to sign a waiver before entering the water.
